Fujifilm presents its new model, the Fujifilm FinePix Z3 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 30/5/06. This model measures 93 x 57 x 28 mm while it weights only 170 g. The FinePix Z3 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. It also supports a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Fujifilm FinePix Z3 is 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 5.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FinePix Z3 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.

Fujifilm added a digital zoom on its FinePix Z3 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FinePix Z3 was set at 1/4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix Z3 has an internal memory of 10 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the FinePix Z3 is measuring 2.5 ".
