Fujifilm presents its new model, the Fujifilm FinePix Z2 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in North America on the 10/10/05. This model measures 90 x 55 x 19 mm while it weights only 170 g. The FinePix Z2 offers a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Fujifilm FinePix Z2 is set at 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 5.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FinePix Z2 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.

Fujifilm implemented a digital zoom on the FinePix Z2 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FinePix Z2 was set at 1/4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix Z2 has an internal storage space of 16 mb extendable by using xD Picture Card. The LCD implemented in the FinePix Z2 is measuring 2.5 ".

There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
