Fujifilm launches its new model, the Fujifilm FinePix F50 fd which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced on the North American market on the 26/7/07. It also supports a lower resolution of 2848 x 2136, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the FinePix F50 fd is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.6 " having a RGB color filter. Fujifilm added a digital zoom on its FinePix F50 fd with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 45 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FinePix F50 fd is 8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds.

Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix F50 fd has an internal memory of 25 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card, SD card + Internal.
