The FinePix F420 Zoom gets a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2120. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Fujifilm FinePix F420 Zoom is set at 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the FinePix F420 Zoom is a CCD measuring only 1/2.7 " using a RGB color filter.
Fujifilm included a digital zoom on the FinePix F420 Zoom and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 60 cm. The min. shutter speed of the FinePix F420 Zoom was set at 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix F420 Zoom camera has an internal storage of 16 mb and can be extended with xD Picture Card.
