It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Fujifilm FinePix F402 is 4:3, for a total of 2.1 mega pixels. The sensor on the FinePix F402 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter. Fujifilm implemented a digital zoom on the FinePix F402 and included an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the FinePix F402 was set at 1/4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix F402 has an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card.
