Fujifilm presents its new camera, the Fujifilm Finepix 30i which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in North America on the 26/10/01. The Fujifilm Finepix 30i is sold at a price of 500in the US, a very interesting deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 85 x 73 x 30 mm and weights 200 g. The Finepix 30i can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Fujifilm Finepix 30i is 4:3, making a camera of 1.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Finepix 30i is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " using a RGB color filter.

Fujifilm added a digital zoom on its Finepix 30i with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm.
