Fujifilm launches its new camera, the Fujifilm FinePix 2650 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 01/8/02. The Fujifilm FinePix 2650 has been launched at a price of 59in the United States, no bad for all this technology. This nice little piece of technology measures 100 x 65 x 52 mm and is weighting only 235 g. The FinePix 2650 gets a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Fujifilm FinePix 2650 is set at 4:3, making a total of 1.9 mega pixels.

The sensor on the FinePix 2650 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter. Fujifilm added a digital zoom on its FinePix 2650 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the FinePix 2650 is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Fujifilm FinePix 2650 includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with xD Picture Card.
